Take a little trip...

Mt. Rainier from the plane

While Sarah was off having a great time in Williamsburg on the 4th, I took a quick last minute trip up to Seattle. I saw some friends, family, and some great weather!
A few of the highlights would include: a BBQ with friends the day I arrived, and spending some time on lake Union in a kayak watching a military helicopter do some training runs for the 4th of July. Also I had great time visiting ArenaNet, going to lunch with some Anet friends, playing basketball and softball, and of course seeing the family.

My only regret is that I couldn't spend more time up in Seattle this trip, since there are many friends that I didn't get to see. Next time...I should also have a little more time to plan and let people know I will be in the neighborhood!

Agree...really nice pictures. I'll bet you a 10-min back rub though that the pics you have labeled as St. Helens are actually of Mt. Adams. St. Helens usually doesn't have any snow in July and that mountain is missing something pretty distinctive - namely a massive crater!

I bet you might be right C. The pilot on the way to California wasn't a very good cabin updater on what we were going to be seeing on the left or right of the plane...
